Looking for new places to study? Maybe you want to study more and can’t find the time? Squeeze in some extra studying or reading time in these six often missed places.
1. During your Commute
Open up your tablet or textbook and start reading during your commute and next time you book a vacation, don’t forget your textbooks!
Taking public transportation gives you time to:
- Reread something you didn’t understand
- Review your notes
- Begin a new assignment
2. Waiting for your Kids, Spouse, or Friends
Waiting for your friends or kids to get out of school? You never know how long you’ll have to wait so be prepared. if you think you’ll have to wait around, keep these items close by:

3. At the Gym
Many people set aside time to workout. As a result, you also have time to study! Print a few articles to read or bring your notes to the gym so you can study while biking or walking on the treadmill.
Helpful Tip : Steer clear of the fashion, sports, tech, etc. magazines at your gym. Don’t give in to the temptation!

While it’s likely you won’t get serious studying done during commercials, you can do something! In between clips of your favorite TV show, aim to complete tasks that involve minimal concentration, such as posting to discussion boards, reviewing definitions you are working on memorizing.

Taking a hot bubble bath instantly relaxes you and as a result, tends to clear your mind. A clear head is important for studying.
