Effective date: October 19, 2025

EDGAB (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates this store and website to provide you a curated shopping experience for portable appliances (including the Portable Mini Washer and Foldable Portable Clothes Dryer) (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit or make a purchase on edgab.com, use our Services, or otherwise communicate with us.

If there is a conflict between our Terms of Sale and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy governs how we collect, process, and disclose personal information.

By using the Services you acknowledge you have read and understand this Privacy Policy.

1 — Personal information we collect

“Personal information” means information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you. Depending on how you interact with us and where you live, we may collect:

Contact & account details

  • Name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, phone number, account username and password, and other account profile information.

Payment & transaction information

  • Payment card details, transaction history, billing information, order contents, returns/exchanges, and purchase confirmations. (Payment data is typically collected and stored by our payment processors.)

Device & usage information

  • IP address, device and browser type, operating system, unique identifiers, cookies, page views, and how you interact with the Services.

Communications

  • Messages and information you provide in emails, live chat, support tickets, reviews, or other correspondence.

Marketing & preferences

  • Marketing opt-in status, contact preferences, and personalization data (e.g., items saved to cart or wishlist).

Inferences

  • Inferences we draw from any of the above to provide personalized experiences (product recommendations, targeted advertising, etc.).

We do not consider information to be personal information if it has been de-identified or aggregated so it cannot reasonably identify you.

2 — Where we collect personal information from

  • Directly from you: When you create an account, place an order, sign up for marketing, contact support, submit reviews, or otherwise provide information.

  • Automatically: Via cookies, pixels, and similar technologies when you visit the website or use the Services.

  • From third parties: Our service providers (payment processors, fulfillment partners, analytics vendors), advertising partners, and other third parties.

  • From Shopify: Because EDGAB uses Shopify to host our store, Shopify also collects and processes certain data about your store interactions.

3 — How we use personal information

We use your personal information for business purposes including to:

  • Provide the Services: Process payments, fulfill orders, arrange shipping, handle returns, and maintain your account.

  • Personalize and improve the Services: Remember preferences, show relevant products, analyze trends, and test improvements.

  • Communicate with you: Send order confirmations, shipping notices, support responses, account alerts, and other transactional messages.

  • Marketing & advertising: With your consent where required, send promotional emails or texts and show ads (on and off our site) based on your interactions. You can opt out of marketing at any time.

  • Security & fraud prevention: Verify identity, detect and prevent fraud or abuse, and protect our systems and customers.

  • Legal & regulatory compliance: Respond to lawful requests from authorities, defend legal rights, and comply with legal obligations.

We rely on various legal bases to process your data, depending on the jurisdiction and the purpose (e.g., performance of contract to fulfill orders, legitimate interests for fraud prevention and service improvement, or consent for marketing).

4 — How we share personal information

We may disclose your personal information to:

  • Service providers who perform services on our behalf (payment processors, shipping and fulfillment partners, hosting providers, analytics and marketing platforms, customer support providers).

  • Business partners and advertising networks to deliver advertising or offers that may interest you. Those partners will use your information according to their own privacy policies.

  • Affiliates and corporate entities within our group, where applicable.

  • Law enforcement, courts or regulators when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of EDGAB or others.

  • In connection with a business transaction (e.g., sale, merger, or reorganization) — personal information may be transferred as an asset of the business.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Where applicable law uses different definitions (e.g., “sale” or “share” under certain privacy laws), you may have a right to opt out of those activities — see Section 7 (Your Rights & Choices).

5 — Relationship with Shopify

EDGAB uses Shopify to provide the online store and related Services. Shopify collects and processes certain personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve the Services. Information you submit to EDGAB will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify and other third parties that may be located outside your country.

To learn more about how Shopify uses your personal information and your rights in relation to data processed by Shopify, visit Shopify’s privacy pages: https://privacy.shopify.com/.

6 — Cookies, tracking, and advertising technologies

We and our third-party partners use cookies, web beacons, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to collect usage information and to enable certain features (e.g., shopping cart, login persistence), analytics, and advertising.

You may manage cookie preferences and opt out of certain tracking through your browser settings, device settings, or by following opt-out links in our cookie banner where available. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Services.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. These rights may include:

  • Access / Know: Request access to personal information we hold about you.

  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information.

  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.

  • Portability: Request a copy of your personal information in a portable format.

  • Opt out of sale/sharing for targeted advertising: Where applicable (e.g., certain U.S. state laws), you may opt out of sharing or “sale” of your personal information for targeted advertising.

  • Restrict or object to processing: Where provided by law (for example under the GDPR), you may request restriction or object to certain processing activities.

  • Withdraw consent: If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it (this does not affect processing prior to withdrawal).

  • Global Privacy Control (GPC): If you enable the GPC signal in your browser, we will treat it as an opt-out signal for targeted advertising/sharing in jurisdictions where that is recognized.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We may need to verify your identity before honoring requests. To submit a request, contact us as described in Section 12 (Contact & Data Requests).

If you live in the EEA or UK, certain additional rights (objection to profiling, restriction of processing, complaint to supervisory authority) may apply — see your local laws for details.

8 — Children’s information

Our Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you believe we have collected personal information from a child without parental consent, please contact us to request deletion.

9 — Security & retention

Security: We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no security measure is perfect or impenetrable; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention: How long we retain personal information depends on the type of data and why we collected it (e.g., to complete transactions, provide Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes). Generally we retain order and transactional data for tax, accounting and warranty purposes for a period consistent with applicable laws (commonly 3–7 years), and we retain account information until you close your account plus a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations.

10 — International transfers

Your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your residence. If we transfer data from the EEA or UK to other countries, we will rely on appropriate safeguards (for example, Standard Contractual Clauses) or other legal mechanisms permitted by applicable law.

11 — Third-party links & platforms

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, apps or services. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their privacy policies before providing personal information to those sites. Interactions on social media or third-party platforms are also governed by the policies of those platforms.

12 — Complaints & supervisory authorities

If you have a concern about our privacy practices, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it (see Section 13). If you remain unsatisfied and live in the EEA or UK, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

13 — Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make material changes we will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
